• New Beer Garden hours at Butcher and The Boar

Starting today (in one hour) our Beer Garden will be opening daily at 3 P.M.  On top of this, we’ve staffed up to begin table service. ANDDDDD it gets better, we’ll be dishing out some special Beer Garden-only Happy Hour specials too from 3-5.  Perfect for your mid day break, playing hooky or waiting for your reservation.  See you there!

  • Back at it!

There’s an old adage in baseball that goes something like “There’s always next year.” And what’s true in America’s past time, is true in the case of the James Beard Awards.  Our man Chef Jack Riebel was a finalist in yesterday’s 2013 awards for Best Chef: Midwest category. Well, it didn’t happen this time around but that’s not changing a thing. Jack and his crew will be pushing harder than ever to make quality and taste front row center in every single dish you order, always.  And not for the sake of awards, but for every other reason.  Quality, integrity, authenticity and taste.  And of course, you.  Thank you all for your support for Jack and the restaurant…here’s to next year!

    Back to the kitchen!
