It’s never too early to plan a trip away for the weekend and it’s certainly never early to plan a staycation in your own town, taking in all that Minneapolis has to offer. When the Wall Street Journal came through MPLS recently, they did a pretty darn good job of hitting as many of the right kinds of places as you could likely fit in an extended weekend. And what’s better, we were one of those stops. Check the article out, it’s a good one.

This last Sunday, our first-ever Crawdad Festival…well, it ruled. It REALLY ruled. And it did so thanks to you! Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a raging success. And thank you to Travail, Abita, Davina and The Vagabonds and the gang from Kind Country for helping us execute this great event.

This Sunday at our first-ever Crawdad Festival & Beer Bash, we’re releasing 3 brews from our pals over at Abita. Beginning at 3 (till 11), we’ll be releasing 3 Abita Beers; “Purple Haze”, “Turbo Dog” and “Andy Gator” brews. We’ve got live music from Kind Country and Davina and The Vagabonds and an extra special (and likely wacky) pop up food booth with our buddies over at Travail Kitchen and Amusements.
