We strive to ship orders as quickly as possible following receipt of the order, subject to our shipping schedule below. If for some reason the product you have ordered is not available, the item will be placed on back order and we will notify you via email of the options for receiving the product when it is available. Please note that prices are subject to change without notice.
Storage
Butcher & the Boar® sausage should be thawed under refrigeration for 1-2 days before usage. Once thawed, the sausage will last under refrigeration up to 7 days unopened and 4 days after opening. Sausage should be stored at a temperature of 40° F or below, wrapped in plastic to prevent oxidization.
Shipping
To minimize the time our products spend in transit, our default shipping option is second-day air; overnight shipping is available for an additional charge. To ensure our products arrive in optimal condition, shipments, including fresh sausage or other highly perishable product, generally go out only Monday through Wednesday. Orders received Wednesday through Sunday will ship the following week. Federal Express will only ship to street addresses and will not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
We regret that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and that Butcher & the Boar® cannot be responsible for product spoilage due to a delivery not being received or stored properly. Shipping and handling charges will be applied to all exchange orders.
Cancellation Policy
Orders may be canceled with advance notice. If you wish to cancel a recently placed order, we will do everything possible to honor your request. However, if your order has begun its journey through the shipping process, it cannot be canceled or revised. You may contact us via email at [email protected].
