Wow. Last Sunday we celebrated St.Patty’s Day, our monthly Beer Bash and our very first Birthday with you. To simply state it as a success would be an understatement of epic proportions. Last Sunday was AWESOME! And it was because you came out to join us. Thank you. We reached capacity within a couple hours of opening and we partied all day long with old and new friends alike. Thank you for making our event and our very first year so successful…here’s to the year ahead!

Butcher & The Boar 1 Yr. Anniversary Beer Bash (THIS SUNDAY-St.Patrick’s Day)

The day is nearly upon us; our 1 year anniversary. This coming Sunday we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, our monthly Beer Bash and our birthday all rolled into one big shindig going on in our Beer Garden. BUT WAIT, this just in…due to an overwhelmingly positive response we’ll be opening up our dining room (still no reservations needed) to accomodate all the fun. From 2-10 come enjoy hourly meat raffles, live music from The Jolly Groggers, Broken Spoke and Four Pints Shy. We’ll be serving up a special selection of beers from breweries like Central Waters, Goose Island, Stone Brewing, Schmaltz Brewing, and a super exclusive Fulton Knob Creek Barrel Aged Libertine brewed with barrels from our Butcher & The Boar Knob Creek.

Think that’s all? Cause it’s not. We’ve crafted a one-day-only food menu that is all about Irish Grub with a B&TB twist. We’ll be serving up Smoked corned beef sausage & kraut, Bacon-potato sausage with red cabbage and beer-cheese sauce, fish n’ chips, deep fried haggis balls and some always-appropriate wood grilled oysters.

BEER GARDEN EVENT MADNESS!!!

Seems like not a week goes by between killer events that we’re hosting over here in our Beer Garden. But next week, we’re knocking out a back-to-back move on Monday and Tuesday. Monday we have a release party @5 P.M. for Summit Brewing’s “Unchained #12″ and Tuesday brings us our next installment of our Tappin’ Tuesdays event series with Crispin & Fox Barrel @6 P.M. We’ll be releasing Crispin’s “Prepare to Die” cider aged in red wine barrels w/blood orange and killer bee honey AND Fox Barrel’s “As You Wish”, a pear cider aged in chardonay barrels w/ vanilla bean and butter bean honey. Sounds pretty killer if you ask us.

Chances are pretty good that if you’ve been to the restaurant in the past year we’ve been open you’ve been able to sample our exclusive B&TB Knob Creek. That said, we’re gonna take this exclusive thing up a couple notches; Sunday March 17th at our Anniversary party we’ll be serving an extra special Fulton Knob Creek Barrel Aged Libertine made with bourbon barrels from our very own Butcher & The Boar Knob Creek. Yeah, seriously.

Other beer selections for the day include: Bourbon Oak Infused Fulton War & Peace, Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout, Goose Island Bourbon Country Brand Stout, Stone Bourbon Oaked Old Guardian and He’Brew Schmaltz Genesis 15:5. What a list!
